The longest leg is approximately 100 200 miles.
Ice will be available everyday along the route. Friday, around early/mid afternoon. Saturday, around early/mid morning. Sunday, Lunchtime, early afternoon.

Thnx! Now back figuring out how much coffee to bring...

Fresh coffee? I get happy up there if there is a semi cold Red Bull kicking around for me in the am.

Getting amped for the trip also!   Just got in a new Cobra remote CB. I usually just stayed disconnected but I figured what the hell. Also had to add a dual jerry can holder to the rear bumper. Along with a couple Spector can's.

One question:  **** Does each truck in a team HAVE to have a passenger??  Mine backed out and I really don't mind rolling solo.

Someone please let me know.  Thanks

We are not going to kick you out for being solo in your truck, it is just recommended due to the remote location and the help in recovery a copilot can provide. A Cb is required to keep in touch with your teammates rig.

Ann and I got back from our camper shake down yesterday.  11 days, 2,728 miles.  Time to adjust gear a bit, but mechanically we couldn't be more pleased!  Electric brakes were a great upgrade between crazy drivers and a wicked hill in Banner Elk, NC.  On our trip north, we got to meet Rich and Amy to bo

Two weeks to get gear sorted, stuff offered and adjustments made before the camper gets to finally be used properly!

    Excellent!  Good looking rig!

We are extremely excited to bring this adventure to those who are attending as its quite a beautiful area with some pretty neat and historic things to see.  We look forward to seeing everyones setups and talking shop about the sport in general.  Can't wait to see everyone!

It's going to be a hoot Rich! Thanks for the hospitality!

The trailer is based off the m116a1 chassis. It's called a pioneer tool trailer.

Grumble grumble grumble. LoL, I think in August it'll be getting a vanity plate NOBBQ4U. Every stop in NC brought up the smoker question. I guess I did see it coming though...  Very Happy

Thanks! The trailer tracks perfectly behind the FJ, so hopefully all will go well. I'll have a spare set of bearings for it, even though the axle is brand new... Once I get my tires and skids in, I'll be doing some testing in northern NH but I don't expect much drama with it.

Spare bearings are a great idea. Mine crapped out shortly after it was new...
