There's plenty of places to fish, hope you have your fishing license! I also hope you brought your front driveshaft with you...

Then meeting up with Steve & Tim near Arcadia. There will be lobsters involved.
Anyone in the area hit us up (203) 788-4787. ETA 1pm hopefully sooner.

Lets just not mention the fresh lobsters to Ann...
I even tell her about how they cook lobsters and that doesn't deter her from buying a lobster roll at every place we stop. Honestly, I think she's gone mad....

Yeah, Amy isn't too keen on the whole live lobster thing.
Myself, I'm totally up for some delicious bug murder!

He would want some "limb risers" to keep the branches from beating up the front/top of his van.

Just FYI and I wanted to mention it before but hopefully people are keeping up with the thread until no cell service but the misquitos are absolutely incredible right now so plan accordingly. If you have a candle, deet, electronic device, bug zapper or flame thrower....bring it.

Cool cool. Can't wait to see you there. 4lbs is what we feed our young when they are just learning to eat! haha just kidding. That's a good amount of lobster. Hope you brought a decent size trail bucket

I just got back. I probably logged fewer mile than most of you (being relatively local), but here what I saw:
Had a great time. I'm sure people will post pictures and stories in the trip reports section.
The 75mph was on the interstate on the way back.

Thank you everyone who attended! We had an absolute blast, met a ton of really great people, some people who we've met before and caught up as well as some simply incredible rigs. We look forward to next years event as the planning is already in the works. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and got a taste of how fantastic this area is and can hopefully get out the majority of the dust that may have accumulated along the way! looking forward to the trip reports!

To all the participants I want to thank all of you. You are all top notch people and made me proud to be involved with this. Every campsite was left better than it was found. We doubled back to verify the camp fires were out and were absolutely blown away that there was zero evidence that 20+ trucks were there overnight aside from some tire tracks. Bravo all of you! You made this a fantastic ride and we were honored to have you all in our back yard. Is it 2015 yet? I'm ready to go.

I just got in myself and I want to thank all the staff and all the parcipitents for a great event. It was so nice to all of the similing faces, the teamwork with everything from map reading to campsite setup. I loved the diversity of the rigs. It was a pleasure to share the adventure with this group of people and I look forward to doing it again. I have a lot of great pic's I need to post up, and I hope you all share yours with us.

Can't thank everyone enough for coming and making the Moose on the Loose such a memorable event.
Lotta cool rigs, heard of some good stucks, campsites were left unmarked, heard some great campfire stories, quite a few wildlife was spotted, and the dust will always be in your rigs haha
Pictures? Ya, we all need to see them. At this point you'll need to use a remote picture host (flikr, photobucket, etc), sorry for any inconveniences..
