You're bringing extra clothes? Bah, shirt, shorts, couple pairs of underwear and a few pair of socks and you're golden! My trailer is packed, but only cause I'm moving right now, and using it next weekend for fire classes down south.

Was packing up and changing my starter the other day and found my ring and pinion leaking destroyed. Needs bearings ring and pinion etc etc. And my Axel shaft was over tighten and threads were all stripped. $800 in parts later should be all back together tomorrow hopefully.

Ouch. Just had a similar fix to the tune of $650 for the A/C compressor plus installation of a new line that rubbed through. Pretty happy, but Northern Maine dusty roads without A/C on a 80 degrees day wouldn't be much fun.

I want to reiterate that all attending should re-read the original post and to make sure they have all necessary equipment and such. Nothing has changed from the beginning, we just want people to be prepared and to be able to pass the tech inspection

Coffee - Coffee - Coffee
Caution: shameless self promotion!
Once again Toltec Coffee is a MOTL sponsor, and, again, we will will be providing a free bag of our EXPEDITION blend coffee to each truck (two trucks per team = 2 bags of coffee). We will also have some bags of JUNGLE roast for people who prefer a medium roast. As with all specialty coffee it is sold fresh and whole bean. So, if you plan to drink on MOTL, remember to bring a grinder. But we will also bring a grinder, and voltage converter, so if people do not have, we will grind full bag for you.
Last year we had a big demand for our coffee, more than just the free 12 oz bag, so this year we are offering up MOTL special deals for those who want to stock up. Obviously there will be no shipping costs, which is a big cost savings to you and us, as we will bring with us to MOTL.
Additional Coffee Varieties
VOLCANO (Extra dark french roast)
EXPEDITION (Med/Dark very full bodied)
JUNGLE (Medium full bodied - typical Costa Rican style)
Special Pricing:
12 oz bags 2 for $20.00
16 oz bags 2 for $25.00
5 lb cafe bag $50.00
All special pricing is pre-pay only via Paypal: Sales “at” ToltecCoffee.com
Please send an email to Sales “at” ToltecCoffee.com with your order and put MOTL Special Order in the subject box. This is so I know to bring with us to MOTL and not ship to you PP address.
Order cut-off date is Saturday June 11th.
We will also have some hard to find cultivars we can share sample of if people are interested, perhaps a little cupping one morning.
See you all up there!

Air filters. Make sure you have a good clean spare and that your current one is in healthy condition. And perhaps sunscreen, bugspray, and certainly don't forget your campchair!

I know there's not much service up there. But is there a emergency contact name and number for someone up there to leave with wife at home in case something happens back home and someone needs to get a hold of us?

We at Northeast Overland would like to extend our greatest appreciation to those who came and participated our 3rd Annual Moose on the Loose tour, in Northern Maine and New Hampshire.
We traversed many a road, some suggested, some not , but in the end we all gained a greater appreciation for what the wilderness and adventure camping can do for one's soul. We gained some valuable new friends, and were able to catch up with veteran's of our sport we haven't see in some time, to continue to create a tremendous bond that will hold us over until our next adventure when we can converse again about what makes life great.
We, Jareb and Chris, would like to thank our STAFF, Greg, Muffin, Mike, Adam, and Scott for their help. We would not be able to put on such a ride without tireless efforts by pre-running, scouting and just plain helping during these runs. Runs like these take a tremendous amount of time to coordinate and plan. We appreciate the effort that you put into the organization to keep and maintain a high level of expertise for these runs. Thank you.
On a side note, please be aware that this run has gained national attention and fills extremely fast. We are in talks to try and put two of these on for next year and would love to hear some feed back from our past and current participants about whether they believe a June and end of August MOTL would be something they would be interested in.
As always, feedback is always appreciated as well.
Thanks again.
