Oh I would drive the wheels off that vw pickup. My cousin built one with a "built" 2600cc Porsche motor. He left the outside stock looking but rebuilt the truck on a rotisserie. It looked bran new after he was done, he sold it for 20k a few years later.
I am really digging the Tepu tent show.

Re: Random Pictures
The new to me TJ. my best friends mom was the original owner. My ZJ broke on the way to his house, and his mom had this sitting out behind the shop. Got a KILLER deal, frame is nearly mint, all the tops and doors included, gets 18mpg! and its a stick. Ill miss my ZJ but it was time for something that needed alot less tinkering. (knock on wood)

Re: Random Pictures
^^i took the wheels off my zj and also the lift. I guess the lift from the grand cherokee will fit my TJ so i removed the lift before i towed the ZJ away (2.25 inch spring spacer lift)

Re: Random Pictures
Thanks, i will start a build thread, as soon as my xmas goodies come in!....it is a great rig, i remember being kids and riding around in the back of it. My buddys mom bought it brand spankin new in 98, she then sold it to her husbands company so her husband could use it to run around and do estimates with for his excavation business. so its really a 1 owner vehicle. She drove it to and from work and to Rangely.

Re: Random Pictures
Most spacers will work for both, the ZJs need a notch cut out of them but will still work on the TJs

Re: Random Pictures
i have the tow hook with brackets from the ZJ, im going to take the brackets off so its just the hooks and mount them to the front. As for the lift, i looked up the part numbers on 4wheelcustoms and the TJ and ZJ lift match the lift that I have, only difference is the bump stops. Im going for the expedition style, i dont like to beat the bag out of my vehicles, just a camping/trail rig, as well as daily driver.

It would probably be cheaper to truck it back.

Re: Random Pictures

Re: Random Pictures
That one from Oregon is pretty slick, I like how the rear most axle can be raised to help with turning.
