Wicked Hills Offroad Park
So I emailed Jeff at Wicked hills and asked if he is still doing rides. He stated there will be a ride on Sept 14th & 15th if anyone wanted to go. I can get more detailed if anyone was to take part in this.

There's "remote" camping right there. Very similar to the cow pasture from VOT.REDrum wrote:Subscribed. Long haul, but interested.

Re: Wicked Hills Offroad Park
Here is Jeff, reply, anyone interested in the saturday or sunday?
We don't go out if it's raining to prevent erosion & run-off so as long as the weather is good we'll go. There is no limit on number of trucks, well we've never had too many. I ask for a $35 per vehicle/day donation to go toward our expenses as we need to meet with DEP again and have to have representation when we meet.
I'll let you know what day once we decide, is Sat or Sun better for your pack?

Re: Wicked Hills Offroad Park
Wow, his prices skyrocketed!! Either day is fine with me, but Saturdays usually work best for distant travelers. That way IF something breaks/happens, they don't have a wicked long drive home on a Sunday night. And it'll give a recovery day if need be.

Re: Wicked Hills Offroad Park
That's pretty steep, unless a meal is provided as well. Jeff is a great host and I really like the guy, but that price point will likely keep me and many others away.

Re: Wicked Hills Offroad Park
I agree, i understand he has to make a little for the rides, but wow that is a little much. I wanted to do it as a test and tune day for the YJ now that it is finish. IF no one is game i will tell Jeff we will reschudle for someother time.

Re: Wicked Hills Offroad Park
Not that its the same terrain but for 10 minutes more of travel time you could T&T down at the park in Lewiston. Much cheaper...

Re: Wicked Hills Offroad Park
True, I would be nice to get another place to ride, sense it is only 15 min from the house. All wheels is 45 plus from my house. I just as well may go down behind my house and play

Re: Wicked Hills Offroad Park
And off that same terrain concept RMTP is $20/person w/a flush bathroom, shower, kitchen and lounge. Not to Bash Wicked Hills, as I've been there a few times (yet to go this year, I heard this past spring was a mudfest, of which I'm not a fan of).03Rubicon wrote:Not that its the same terrain but for 10 minutes more of travel time you could T&T down at the park in Lewiston. Last December was a mudfest also. There is some good terrain but overall to muddy for me.

Re: Wicked Hills Offroad Park
Since this Saturday is Landowner Appreciation Day, maybe Jeff will give us a deal if we clean-up any of his trails that we traverse on. Just an idea.
