Re: Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Hi everyone,
I had signed up for two spots for the July trip but unfortunately I can't make the July 23rd date anymore.
Is there anyone (or two) people from the May 7th trip that would like to swap with me? It would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'm looking forward to meeting some like minded people with the same interest and checking out the other vehicles to get ideas.

For all those coming in Friday night and looking or a spot to stay in the greater Moosehead region, I may just have a cool spot..stay tuned. The fella that owns the land will be speaking up shortly (if not, I will)

Thank you for the introduction, sir!
Hello, Northeast Overlanders!
It just so happens that I have a camp on Mooshead Lake in Lily Bay, twelve miles north of downtown Greenville.
I have a big yard right on the water with plenty of space for your vehicles with RTT's, or ground tents. There's a fire pit we can utilize provided the weather allows it. For accommodations, I have running water, but only a privy for a restroom, so just be aware of that.
Here's the spot:
(The trailer and wood pile have been moved, so there's plenty of room! Also, the lake is free of ice.)
Anyone going on the PTA trips are more than welcome to stay Friday night, and we can drive back into Greenville to meet up with the others on Saturday morning.
My camp is located at the end of Walter's Road in Lily Bay. Travel north on the Lily Bay Road exactly 12 miles from the blinking yellow light in downtown Greenville. Walter's Road is on the left. Go to the end, go through the gate, and you'll see a big silver barn. That's the place! You'll see my Tacoma right away and know you're there.
Again, anyone is welcome! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM me on here. Also, if you'd like to stay, just give me a heads up so I know how many people to expect.
Looking forward to it!
-Walt

Wow, very gracious of you to offer!
I will definitely take you up on it. I just need to know: What's your beverage of choice?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Great. I apologize in advance for a late arrival, it's a 5 hour drive for me and I'm not sure yet how early I can buzz out of work this Friday.

Re: Planes, Trains and Automobiles
So far for Friday night we have:
1. Myself
2. Jareb (MtnClimber)
3. Nick (MassMopar, NEO)
4. Steve (GraniteStateJeeper, EXPO)
5. Mark (Greydog, EXPO)
6. Chris (Chris Boyd, EXPO)
Should be a good time. Looks like the weather will allow us to have a decent campfire. We have plenty of room for more if anyone else is interested!

I'm sure mobility scooters with swampers are allowed.

Re: Planes, Trains and Automobiles
FYI, I drove up to the Caribou Gate today and found out the NMW gates are in fact open and operational. They just opened yesterday.
So, we can expect to pay the access fees.

I had a great time, thanks to the NEO crew for putting this run together! Double thanks to Walt for having us all over Friday night.
It was a blast meeting everyone and checking out the awesome variety of rigs.
