Overland Rally & Workshop, Oct 10-13

I know quite a few adventurers were interested in joining the VOT this year but cannot due to the event being filled.
This may be a good alternative. Everywhere I read about prior workshops, people have given it two thumbs up!

Has the club considered going as a sponsor?

For $450??    

Well, that's $225 per vehicle. Single sponsor cost is $250. Individual (you) would be $175.

The line you quoted was $450;

"NEORW sponsor (includes 2 vehicles, all passengers, premier central location and full website presence) $450, Premier central sponsor location/campsite."

And yes, I saw all the fee's.  

So, no, you haven't considered it? If NEO sends two rigs anyways, it's only $50 more per rig to get web visibilty and a different camping spot.

I have attended the last 2 years & it is no where as large as the one they hold out west or in Washington

I usually buy a one day pass, but I cant seem to find that this year

I posted a question about it over on expo & its still unanswered

it seems they are all about the weekend fees, where they make profit from my perspective

last year didnt have any workshops or lectures even

the first year I sat in on a photo lecture, wilderness first aid class amogst others

I'm down with a one day'er as my schedule usually sucks ass and I cant get as much time off around that time of year. Make it a sun-tuesday and you can guarantee ill be there. I need to start researching things that fall on these days. Might make attending something a little easier.

Northeast Overland is in the process of working something out really cool for he VO workshop this year. Stay tuned!

Thanks muffinman! But unfortunately, most of the Staffers schedules conflict with this weekend (work, wedding, work) so we may not be able to make it to this super fine event  

For those looking for a long weekend of wheeling and camping (and have not signed up for NEORW yet), you may want to consider the Yankee Toyota's Fall Gathering Oct 11 - 14th.

Its a great event held at Field & Forest in Dublin NH (formally known as Gretchen's), 3 days of wheeling with New England's Land Cruiser community. All rides are organized by difficulty. While I have not been to NEORW, I've told there is a lot more wheeling at the Fall Gathering. And there is a big BBQ and raffle Saturday night.

Ill be at ORW. Not sure what Im up to yet. Probably some staff duties but I might bring a few old Land Rovers for people to play with.
