Hanging out in the storm today and watching youtube vids, I was inspired to find "soccer mom rigs" wheeling. Some of the rigs are very impressive.

Re: Soccer Mom wheelers
I went out with Soccer mom Wheeler today, theres still about a foot to foot and half of snow with ice beneath. I had fun, but damn the wind made it cold. Thank god for my soccer mom heated seats!

That must be nice. My current rig is slightly bigger then a side by side with about the same amount of creature comforts. I must be getting old because lately I want more.

I've had a CJ, YJ, and TJ, they have they're place. Since owning, Disco's defenders and the LR3, I will never own anyting but a rover.

Re: Soccer Mom wheelers
Back when I had a 81 scrambler my dad had a 73 series III, that was a cool little rig. Lately I have been thinking of adding another arrow to my quiver with a "soccer mom rig" Xterra, Lr3, fj crusier, etc... My sister in law has an Xterra and has had not problems in six years of heavy driving. My dad also has one and has been trouble free for the 35k he has had it. In contrast my tj has been with me for 5yrs and 35k and has gone though three fuel pumps, many brake parts, balljoint, ujoints, shocks and tires....
Some ideas.....

True the xterra forums are full of mods, but very few of the owners add lockers. The pro-4x and the offroad package come from the factory with a rear locker. It is Nissan's response to the TRD.
