Well, Im not doing great this morning but i'll make it. The 2.5 hour nap was useless. Might as well have stayed up. Already locked the house keys in the garage. Perfect. See ya in an hour J Rab.

Just felt some sprinkles when I walked about. Its headed that way.

Yaaa, it's lightly snowing now. This should be quite the wicked adventure!

What a great ride. Nothing very technical, but beautiful scenery on the snow-covered roads.

I'm glad I could get out of work early to be able to go. I was about an hour behind you and had to hit a moving target to meet up with the group... with no cell signal on both ends.

Oh, and several of us ended up with Christmas trees.

A lot of ice covered dirt roads, flurried/snowed most of the day. Wouldn't have passed it up tho

We passed some heavily washed out roads, discovered a great overnight spot near Angel Falls, found some precarious ice, destroyed a Mtn Dew can, enjoyed great food at Sarge's, went through (literally) a deep frozen "puddle", selected a few Christmas tree's, played abit in a small pit, and took in the fabulous frozen views from Height of Land.

What a great trip was good to see everybody again and to meet Fj Boozah aka (cliffhanger)
Schuyler and I have some good memorys of the day looking forward to the next ride

Negative, but that's where we parked to scope things out.

Yeehaw~! Note 2wd on icy incline=second trip in the shop for damage to this vehicle. And it probably would have been unrepairable. Luckily, lady luck was on my side and spared me a tumble down a pretty sizable incline. At that point I would have gone down where I just came from. Hopefully in good enough order to try my hand at it again.

Good thing she came home unscathed. That would have been a conversation for the ages. I dont even have 250 miles on it yet and the temp plate isn't out for another 4 days. haha. Pics tomorrow.

Nice meeting Muffinman and Miss Schuyler, thanks for making the trip over. Steve good to see you and fam as well. Jill provided the only scapegoat I could use for my "mishap" as the rest of us clearly had done nothing wrong for any portion of the trip.

Very easy, slow, nice trip. The weather played very little into it but it was nice to see the flakes falling during the trip. Good way to wind out the season.

Man, I never noticed before. But this place is crawling with Yota's. There like the Cherokee of overlanding. lol
