Another tent option for your truck is the Go Fast Campers setup.

I like the idea of the Go Fast Campers, Vagabond and AT summit just wish I had the money for them. I also found this article that compares them

I'm currently in the market for a RTT and have been looking at everything. Trying to find the best bang for the buck as these things are not cheap. Was going to go with the TuffStuff Alpha, but they look Sold Out till at least April from what I've read. Roofnest is another consideration but I've watched mixed reviews on YT about QC issues coming out of China. Might be going back to look for other hardshell options that are not $3k +

How many people need to sleep in said RTT? Is a soft shell RTT a consideration? If you're looking at getting the best bang for your buck, Tepui is the tent for you.

Just me mostly, my daughter when she's ready to go on extended trips.

I've been eyeballing the Tepui Kukenam Explorer to get the annex as well...

I also keep looking at this one and I'm being lured in by the price, could it be high enough quality at that price point?
