Allan, it worked perdy good. I wasn't able to fill the trailer with all my camping stuff, haha. I plan on adding multiple tie down area's w/in the trailer. The tent sets up super easy, plenty of room inside and it holds the heat fairly well for such cool nights (both around 33-36 degrees). It's nice being able to keep my sleeping bag, fleece blanket, and pillow inside the tent while folded up.

I picked up 3 stock XJ steelies from a fire buddy and also found three 33x9.5 TrailMark's for the trailer too. Rims got painted black to match the current rims on Jinxy. I also shortened up the wiring harness and changed the tongue jack to a pad bottom vs a cute lil wheel.

Scored this today while cleaning up/out a house that's going on the market. Homeowner acquired this before leaving the military and gave it to me. Spout and all!

This will most likely get mounted on the driver's side, just forward of the fender. If only he had the mount...

Nice Jareb. Those trailers are awesome for the type of wheelin we do. Can set up camp anywhere. I enjoy our homebuilt trailer. Used it last weekend without any issues. Cant wait to see it.

I found the gas can carrier but it's pretty rotted. You can have it for repair or copy it to make a new one

The 1/2" threaded rod is bolted thru the 1x2" square tube on the inside framework and the hi-Lift doooesn't quite touch the fender.

So the lugnuts on the trailer were 2 different sizes...how annoying. Each tire had four 21mm nuts and one 19mm nut. Jinxy has all 21mm nuts. While pawin' around the garage tonite I found 12 solid nuts, all 21mm, all brandy new. Fabulous.
Now the entire package deal has solid 21mm nutz.

Ya that's right, blingin' chrome. Aw yeah Cool

Now to get some 1.5" wheelie spacers so I can run my factory Jeep center caps to cover up those hideous dust caps.

Removed the Cruiser bars and installed some Yakima bars. I was nervous of the blingy shiny bars fetching up on tree's and such and these Yakima bars don't stick out at all.

Scored this today for those longer trips:

    MtnClimber's Adventure Trailer IMG_20130622_184755_900_zps4830bde2

    MtnClimber's Adventure Trailer IMG_20130622_184748_480_zps2ea60f5b

Also scored a set (4) of 1.25" wheelie spacers. So the plan is to install the set of 1.25"ers on Jinxy and install the 1.5"ers on the trailer leaving me with a spare pair of 1"ers.

Long story short, the newly acquired 1.25' spacers are 1.5" Smile
So the trailer is now nicely spaced evenly (track width) behind Jinxy.
HOWEVER, amongst installing the spacers I found out that 3 out of 4 wheelie bearings on the trailer are pooped due to lack of grease. The passenger side spindle was completely coated with rust and the inner bearing wouldn't budge. I tried to clean/repair the bearings and spindle as best I can until I can replace everything. You'd think that a complete axle from TSC would come with grease, so if anyone builds a trailer with one of these axles you'll want to tear it apart and grease it properly.

I also plan on removing one of the 4 leafs to help soften the ride since they don't really move even with a load. They are 1,750 lb capacity springs from TSC.

Remember when I said there was little to no grease in the axle hubs? And then I cleaned them up and re-packed the wheelie bearings? Well I guess it was too little too late cuz the DS inner wheel bearing decide to give up & self-destruct on my way home this mernin. I stopped and tightened the bearing jamb nut as far as it would go to limp it home. The spindle is ruined so now I need another axle assembly. Fantastic.........

I only noticed it due to the grease cap banging around in the Jeep center cap after it came off the hub. Glad I had spacers on there to allow for the Jeep center caps to fit otherwise the whole tire/hub combo coulda flew right off! affraid    And with my luck, probably into oncoming traffic...
