Chris there is a discount......it is a $100 rebate. Discount tire has a instant $50 rebate and $50 dollar rebate and free shipping, which means I could get five 33x12.50 Wildpeaks to my door for $600 after the rebates. That might be a great mild tire for cheap... Wink Connors didn't work well in the mud but I don't think any all terrain is going to.

"SALT LAKE CITY, UT (March, 25, 2013) – Falken Tire has become the newest corporation to join Tread Lightly! ’s ever-growing alliance of partners dedicated to promoting responsible recreation and good stewardship of the great outdoors.
“We are excited to announce Falken Tire as the Official Tire of Tread Lightly! and the possibilities this new partnership holds,” said Lori McCullough, Tread Lightly!’s executive director. “Falken Tire is establishing itself as one of Tread Lightly!’s top-tier partners from the get-go. Not only are they providing a cash investment to the nonprofit organization, Falken has also agreed to aggressively help grow Tread Lightly!’s grassroots base by providing the tire rebates as part of the package of benefits that comes with the privilege of an individual’s membership in Tread Lightly!.”
As part of their partnership, Falken has pledged a $100 rebate on a set of WildPeak A/T tires to individuals who join Tread Lightly!’s membership at the $50 level and above. As an incentive for individuals to renew their membership in Tread Lightly!, Falken is providing a $50 rebate to any person who renews their existing membership at the base level of $25 and up.

It’s in large part because of individuals’ memberships that Tread Lightly! is able to continue educating the public on the importance of responsible recreation by enhancing and promoting existing programs such as Tread Trainer, Restoration for Recreation and Respected Access is Open Access. According to Tread Lightly!’s executive director, Falken’s contribution is expected to make a tremendous difference in the organization’s ability to reach more and more enthusiasts within the outdoor recreation community.
“We’re eager to embark on this mutually beneficial partnership,” said Nick Fousekis, Motorsports Marketing and Events Director. “We’re proud to stand next to Tread Lightly! in promoting responsible recreation. Now more than ever it’s important for Falken to invest in OHV recreation and to foster good stewards so we ensure access and opportunities to enjoy recreation as part of America’s heritage for current and future generations to come.”
For more information on the rebate and becoming a member of Tread Lightly! visit their website."

Tread Lightly! Unveils Bold, New Website
SALT LAKE CITY, UT (April 9, 2013) – As a top priority to better communicate in an increasingly digital world, Tread Lightly! has recently revamped its website. With a bold new design, ultra-easy navigation and multiple points of entry, this valuable mechanism used to connect with the public is now better than ever before.

“We’re elated with the outcome of treadlightly.org’s redesign,” said Lori McCullough, executive director of Tread Lightly!. “We now have a more user-friendly site, are providing our top-investing partners with better exposure on every page and we’ve given our members a place to share stories, photos and experiences.”

Treadlightly.org has also been optimized for search to maximize traffic and to deliver Tread Lightly!’s message to an even larger audience.
According to McCullough, top-priorities for revamping the website were to improve access to educational materials as well as increase store sales and member interactivity. The main desire for growing sales through the store is to generate revenues for Restoration for Recreation – a Tread Lightly! initiative established to help keep the great outdoors healthy, open and accessible to the American people.
With the improved website and store, Tread Lightly! is busy increasing the product offerings available through its store. The majority of new product offerings will be Tread Lightly! branded merchandise, ranging from t-shirts to after-market automotive accessories.

Treadlightly.org contains free educational resources to help anyone interested in minimizing their impact when recreation outdoors.

To get involved in future contests and promotions, “like” Tread Lightly! on Facebook and follow the organization on Twitter.

Some great tips for responsible hiking from TreadLightly!

    1. Walk single file to avoid widening the trail.
    2. Choose appropriate footwear for the terrain.
    3. Repackage snacks and food in baggies. This reduces weight and the amount of Trash to carry out.

Smittybilt Becomes Official Partner of Tread Lightly!

Compton, CA. – September 1, 2015 – Smittybilt, prominent manufacturer of innovative truck, Jeep and SUV products for off-road enthusiasts, has signed on as an Official Partner of Tread Lightly! by contributing at the $10,000+ level. As part of Smittybilt's partnership, when the manufacturers Overlander products including tents, generators and Arctic fridges are purchased from October 1 through the end of the year, buyers will be awarded a one-year membership in Tread Lightly! paid for by Smittybilt.

The overlanding lifestyle means getting out and being at one with nature and Smittybilt's off-roading products and the nonprofit Tread Lightly! champion this lifestyle. So far this year, Tread Lightly! has removed over 100 tons of refuse from public lands and the organization is ever-vigilant for causes related to the health of the great outdoors.

"Smittybilt's new Official Partnership with Tread Lightly! exemplifies the company's commitment to promoting responsible use of their product and protecting access and opportunities for current and future generations to enjoy outdoor recreation responsibly," said Lori McCullough, Tread Lightly! Executive Director. "As we celebrate Tread Lightly!'s 25th anniversary, we are proud to have this industry leader join our who's who of corporate partners."

The one-year free membership awarded to those who purchase select Smittybilt products like coolers, generators and tents is valued at $100. Additional Tread Lightly! membership benefits include a Chrysler Jeep Affiliate Rewards Program Discount and mail-in rebates on tires.

Smittybilt's 50-quart capacity Arctic Fridge/Freezer is large enough for extended ventures into the backcountry, yet sized to conveniently fit in the back of Jeep Wranglers, SUVs and pickups. Overlander tents with annex options attach to the roof of 4x4s, making off-the-grid excursions more comfortable. Smittybilt's new Electrical Power Supply (E.P.S.) inverter generator is "whisper-quiet" and employs the best inverter technology with a few traits to complement the off-roading lifestyle.

"Smittybilt is proud to partner with Tread Lightly!," said Chloe Eady, Smittybilt Marketing Manager. "Their dedication to maintaining trails, picking up trash and being environmentally-friendly makes it a perfect fit."
