Nothing, it should fit right on (so I've read over on Expo). One fella carries his 35" on his 03 TJ, his carries a 33". Both on the rear door/tailgate. Another fella carries a 32" spare.

As a wrangler owner with 32's I can tell you it will not fit without a spacer. I run this one.....http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xtras_1053.html

Would that move it up and away from the stock bumper?

Yep, the bumper is the problem otherwise.

Yaa, these fella's I speak of don't run stock bumpers. So that would make sense that the stock bumper would get in the way. But if he doesn't have the stock bumper, it'll fit. What good is a stock bumper anyways? Razz

But Barrows is speaking from experience, I'm just relaying info I got from the interwebs.

I have a stock tire carrier on my YJ door that holds my 36" tire. It is a pain in the azz but works for the most part. I am wait for the door to fall off at some point.

That mount is much bigger then the tj mount and you have a three inch body lift so your bumper and tire are farther apart. Why fix it if it is working?

That is true, I do have a body lift so it gives me alot more room. Well, last summer when i crossed a wash out it hit the base of the tire and bent the door a little. So i figure UPGRADE!
